Dear trados support, yesterday I installed Trados and multiterm 2017 SP1. After having installed it, I opened multiterm and tried to open my termbase but I got the message that it cannot be opened, because it has been created with an unsupported version of multiterm. I don't understand what this message means, so I search the Internet and try to follow the solution posted by Paul Filkin, namely to rename the trados and multiterm folder in the App data and program data folder. Since I can't solve the problem with such solutions, I decide to reopen the termbase with trados 2015 and export it. After the export, I create a new termbase with trados 2017 SP1 and import the old termbase. However, when I try to perform a search, nothing happens. I try with different termbases but I cannot perform searches in Multiterm desktop. So I remove multiterm and trados and reinstall them again, but the problem is still there. Now, I would like to submit a support ticket, but SDL has changes their webpages so I cannot find the right path. Could you please awaken me from this nightmare? Thank you, Bruno ▲ Collapse | | | Nora Diaz Mexico Local time: 13:52 Member (2002) English to Spanish + ... SDL Community and Support | Aug 22, 2017 |
Hi Bruno, So sorry to hear about your problems. I agree that it's a good idea to open a Support ticket. The place to do it is https://gateway.sdl.com/, where after logging in with your SDL account log in info you will see the option to submit a ticket. I would also suggest you visit the SDL Community and also ask your question there, as the Community is monitored by several SDL experts... See more Hi Bruno, So sorry to hear about your problems. Hello all, I am having a similar problem. Both Studio and MultiTerm 2017 have been bothering me to update, and before I start my large project, I tried updating to the MultiTerm 2017 SP1. I clicked on it, and NOTHING HAPPENED! I clicked on "Open File Location" to find where it is, and clicked on every single thing I could. Nothing. This morning I had a working termbase and now I don't. I have a software maintenance agreement and I have emailed SDL, but I have not heard a response ye...
