Tengo el mismo problema (cheque de EEUU en México), con el agravante de que soy argentino y aún no tengo visa de residencia. Una casa de cambio de la calle López Cotilla, en Guadalajara, me propone dejar el cheque por 15 - 25 días y recién ahí me pagaría en efectivo o me devolvería el cheque. ¿Alguien lo ha hecho ya? ¿Es un procedimiento seguro y confiable, más allá de los inconvenientes por la espera?
