As jy 'n afstandskoppelteken wil he, sal dit "kleinkop- geel perdeby" moet wees, maar die afstandskoppelteken hier is opsioneel, volgens die jongste spelreëls. Die skryfwyse "kleinkop -geel perdeby" is nie korrek nie.

I would consider using kleinkop, like the German has it. Note that since 2002 the distance hyphen in cases like this is optional.
