proofreading
Is it possible to use "runaway or flight" instead of escape? Just asking for the sake of variety... as the word "escape" appears many times in the text.

Lakasa Stnorden (asker) Jul 17, 2007:
What about "easy-fleeing bank robber"?
Trudy Peters Jul 17, 2007:
I assume he escaped from other prisons, rather than just running away from the police when they thought they had him cornered?
Lakasa Stnorden (asker) Jul 17, 2007:
what do you think about runaway?

master escapee/ master jailbreaker

Another two possibilities. Also master of evasion if he evaded capture for long

BTW I wouldn't use "king" as it usually means the one and only or the very best, rather than one of the best as master implies

Possibly a bit far from the original, but it may spark some ideas.

master of the getaway/master of escape

I would avoid "flight" here ....

Definitions of getaway on the Web:

a rapid escape (as by criminals); "the thieves made a clean getaway"; "after the expose he had to take it on the lam"

"getaway" would mean "escaping" from the scene of the crime rather than prison so hard to improve on "escape" here I'm afraid

maybe: jailbust

although "jailbust" would imply oitside help so .... "escape" :)
