German term or phrase: Anrechnung
Da ich aber am Mittwoch die Reise antrete, müßte das jetzt unbedingt erledigt werden, sonst verliere ich die Anrechnung der Nächte.

I am not really sure what does Anrechnung have to do here.

But, since I am completing the journey on Wednesday, this must be completed now, otherwise

--------------------------------------------------

don't worry about "Anrechnung" here it just menas the nights booked/reserved

--------------------------------------------------
Note added at 5 hrs (2017-06-24 03:07:43 GMT)
--------------------------------------------------

otherwise I'll lose the nights booked/reserved

--------------------------------------------------
Note added at 6 hrs (2017-06-24 03:12:23 GMT)
--------------------------------------------------

in your context it could mean "credit for etc." but don't worry and if you're convinced put "credit for the nights reserved/booked"

--------------------------------------------------
Note added at 6 hrs (2017-06-24 03:16:13 GMT)
--------------------------------------------------

but if you say "lose" it covers all bases

--------------------------------------------------
Note added at 6 hrs (2017-06-24 03:17:13 GMT)
--------------------------------------------------

covers any credit that might be due

--------------------------------------------------

Da ich aber am Mittwoch die Reise antrete, müßte das jetzt unbedingt erledigt werden, sonst verliere ich die Anrechnung der Nächte.

But as I'm setting off on Wednesday, this would definitley have to be sorted out, otherwise I'll lose the nights I booked/reserved.

--------------------------------------------------
Note added at 6 hrs (2017-06-24 03:25:42 GMT)
--------------------------------------------------

"definitely"

--------------------------------------------------
Note added at 6 hrs (2017-06-24 03:26:45 GMT)
--------------------------------------------------

and "right now" for "jetzt"

--------------------------------------------------
Note added at 6 hrs (2017-06-24 03:28:11 GMT)
--------------------------------------------------

so final version: But as I'm setting off on Wednesday, this would definitley have to be sorted out right now/immediately, otherwise I'll lose the nights I booked/reserved.

Explanation:
Apparently, this person has to do something related to an upcoming stay before he/she sets off. Otherwise, he/she won't get credit for it. Not clear from the context what kind of credit or who issues it.. Employer? Some travel points program?

Notes to answerer
Asker: I think that "approval" fits in this case. What do you think? The person is scared that if he doesn't complete the formalities to extend his booking right now, He will lose the approval/permission of the night? Does it make sense?
