English translation: separate and physically segregated from

German to English translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Law: Contract(s) / Supplier Contracts
German term or phrase: räumlich und körperlich separat
This is from a contract made by a manufacturing company with its suppliers, under a clause concerning provided goods "Beistellware":

"Ferner muss die Ware als XXX-Eigentum gekennzeichnet, räumlich und körperlich separat gehalten"

Does this mean anything other than "kept separate from other goods?" Why the need for both "räumlich" and "körperlich"? "kept spatially and physically separate" sounds hideously redundant.

Thanks!

Explanation:
I haven't the foggiest what they're selling here, bit they are obviously wary of any mix-up.

agree  philgoddard: I don't think you need to say "completely" - they're either separate or they're not.
