All consultants are present due to their skills/roles, don't they? I would stay away from the Italian description here...

unfortunately there is no more context. Above this is a list of "normal" EC members, then this. I thought perhaps consultants present due to their skills/roles?

. Ciao luskie (certo che anche tu ti sei scelta un nome "esotico" :))), bisognerebbe avere una visione più completa del testo per esserne sicuri. Quello che io so per certo è che gli autori italiani spesso tendono ad allungare il brodo e diventano prolissi e ridondanti. Io in questi casi sono per snellire, ma è necessario più contesto. Ciao!

ciao tex, in italiano non è bellissimo, hai ragione, e infatti io almeno in inglese ho semplificato... però non credo che si possa omettere, perché credo che stia facendo una distinzione tra i membri "soliti" (con le competenze classiche), e i membri che sono stati chiamati a far parte del comitato perché (= in relazione al fatto che) hanno altre specifiche competenze che sono necessarie al caso specifico di questo specifico studio clinico. no?

A me francamente "componenti in relazione alla qualifica" sembra ridondante in italiano, dal momento che apparentemente tutti i componenti lo sono proprio in base alla qualifica ("clinicians, legal experts"..). Io tenderei a semplificare di molto e sarei tentata di suggerirti di ometterlo del tutto. Però per darti un suggerimento più preciso dovresti includere tutta la frase, se possibile.
