Spanish term

Número CIB

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s)

So this is the first paragraph in an amendment agreement to a commissioning agreement (start-up of a shopping mall in Mexico), with the parties' identity details. I see from the web that a FIDUCIARIO or FIDEICOMISO IRREVOCABLE has a CIB Number, but I can't figure out what CIB stands for or refers to. Seems like a comma is missing between "rentas" and "CIB". At the moment my thought is to render CIB/XYZA as "Bearer of CIB/XYZA" (referring to the Trustee).

Que opinan?

Kristine Ibsen May 18, 2016:
CIB Yes, I think it's part of the abbreviation :) The numbers following would refer to the trustee or specific trust I think

Caveat emptor IMHO both suggestions posted so far are possible. I'd check with the client if possible.
Helena Chavarria May 18, 2016:
DEUTSCHE BANK MÉXICO, S. A. is F/NUMBER
Seth Phillips (asker) May 18, 2016:
Hi Kristine Indeed CIBANCO is one representatives acting as trustee. So CIB must be CIBANCO's abbreviation, so the question is whether it is referring to a number assigned to a trustee.
Kristine Ibsen May 18, 2016:
Is the contract with Cibanco? Hi Seth is the contract with Cibanco?

CIB/[...]

[…]
Fideicomiso MRP Aguascalientes CIB/2163
Fideicomiso MRP Huehuetoca CIB/2091
[…]
