FWIW When I first saw the query, I thought it might mean false pregnancy syndrome, but apparently that's "Embarazo psicológico".

constitutional symptoms

"Síndrome de impregnación" is a rather old-fashioned and poorly defined term for what are usually referred to in English as "constitutional symptoms"—typically weakness/fatigue, involuntary weight loss, and anorexia (sometimes low-grade fever). It is often indicative of cancer or other wasting diseases, such as tuberculosis. Depending on the country, it may also be called "síndrome de repercusión general" or simply "repercusión general".

This is a fascinating (to me), almost culture-specific concept, and I don't think it is recognized as a pathological entity in its own right in any formal system (ICD, etc.).

Also worth noting that "síndrome coledociano" is *not* a "choledochal syndrome", but rather Charcot's triad.

Suerte :)

Fair enough! I don't think I *can* find any references showing head-to-head equivalence of the two, though—this is an extremely country-specific term.

maximum tolerated dose

The highest dose of a drug or treatment that does not cause unacceptable side effects. The maximum tolerated dose is determined in clinical trials by testing increasing doses on different groups of people until the highest dose with acceptable side effects is found. Also called MTD.

New term to me, the other answer is good, the same article above agrees with the other possible answer....quote • El Síndrome de impregnación consiste en malestar general, cansancio, y apatía, pudiéndose presentar además cefalea, mialgias y odinofagia.1

• El Síndrome de impregnación puede presentarse en diferentes patologías como por ejemplo: Tuberculosis Pulmonar (Síndrome de impregnación bacilar)

2, también en diversos tumores malignos (Síndrome de impregnación en oncología).
Example sentence:

Maximum tolerated dose is the the pont of saturation.

Peer comment(s):

neutral philgoddard : I've looked at your paho.org reference, but it doesn't make sense to me and I wonder if it's some kind of mistake. I don't see any connection between a syndrome and a dose.

saturated fats metabolic syndrome

If this is about gallstones, as in 'síndrome coledociano' and cholecystectomy: then - pace Phil G. - 'descompresión de la vía biliar .. ' in the string starting with the biliary tract suggests a congruous alternative in the context.
Example sentence:
