Bio

Bio:

Born in Paraguay in 1957, Peter attended elementary and high school in the USA, and has resided in Ecuador since 1976. He has a Bachelor's degree in Educational Psychology from the Catholic University of Ecuador, and a Master's in Education from the University of California at Davis, plus further postgraduate training in Administration, Social Development and Anthropology.


Peter has been a full-time Spanish<>English translator/interpreter for 31 years for international organizations such as the United Nations System, the Organization of American States (OAS) and UNASUR, various governmental agencies, domestic and international NGOs, and local/foreign companies, primarily in the fields of energy and mining, the environment, information and communication technologies, and socioeconomic development, plus the entire range of cross-cutting legal, administrative, financial and technical dimensions.
