VERSATILE BY NATURE
With a sound scientific education ever since high school (Liceo Scientifico in Italy, final mark 60/60), an in-depth knowledge of social sciences (studied Politics and History in Italy and Spain - Scienze Politiche/Ciencias Politicas, gradutated with 110+/110) and a very strong passion for books and literature, I have put my linguistic competences at the disposition of several different projects.
TRANSLATIONS
With a University specialisation in international relations and a work experience in the EU Institutions, I translate on a regular basis European Parliament working documents.
Other domains besides EU law and politics: tourism, architecture & design, food & drink processing, general scientific, religious and devotional.
SUBTITLING Spotting and captioning for films, documentaries, making-ofs and other DVD bonuses.

I have a fairly good knowledge of Portuguese, know some German and study Hebrew. I love translating poetry and prose into Sicilian, from the Bible down to Bukowski's poems.
