For New Homes to Qualify:
• More than 50 percent of the total landscape (front and back)
must be non-grass.
• Homeowner paid for and/or installed landscaped area must exceed
1,000 square feet.
• Both front and back must be landscaped (unplanted bare soil and
artificial grass areas do not qualify).
• 75 percent or more of new trees and shrubs must be low-water-use.
• Landscape work (of over 1,000 square feet) must have been
completed within the last 12 months.
• A final inspection will be required when landscape conversion is
complete. If conversion does not meet the requirements, the applicant
will be allowed 60 days to fully comply and schedule a final inspection.
• Hardscapes that are non-permeable will not count toward the
xeriscape portion of the landscape conversion.

Para que una vivienda nueva califique:
• Más del 50% del jardín (del frente y atrás) debe ser sin césped.
• El área del jardín por la que el propietario pagó o instaló debe exceder
1.000 pies cuadrados (ft2).
• Tanto el jardín del frente como el de atrás deben tener arreglos de
jardinería (el suelo sin vegetación y el césped artificial no califican).

The Alhambra Elementary School District recently launched new district and school websites on July 1. The new websites include easy-to-navigate mega menus that provide information about the district, and pertinent information for parents, students, staff, and the community. Our new websites have a responsive design making it easy to view on smartphones, tablets, and computers. Although the sites went live in July, they are still “under construction” and we ask for your patience as we continue to make improvements!

El Distrito Escolar Elemental Alhambra lanzó nuevos sitios web en el distrito y en las escuelas, el 1 de julio.
