I am an English and French to Spanish translator specialising in the international organisations (UN, ILO, ITU, WHO, WMO, IAEA, WIPO). I was brought up in Venezuela and live now in France. I hold a Diploma of Translator from the University of Geneva, Switzerland.

As a freelance translator in those organizations, I have translated documents concerning different topics: administration, scientific, medicine, AIDS/HIV, biodiversity, labour, statistics, telecommunications, satellites, economics, meteorology, agriculture, climate monitoring, greenhouse gases, hydrology, marine meteorology, tropical cyclones and typhoons, aeronautical meteorology, floods, oceanography, weather, law, education, public health, humanitarian aid. I have also participated as a translator in different international meetings and conferences.
I translated for WMO, from English to Spanish, the Technical Document “Estimating the amount of rainfall associated with tropical cyclones using satellite techniques”, 250 pages.
I translated for ICRC, from French to Spanish, “De Solferino à Tsoushima”, of Pierre Boissier, 510 pages.
Working method :
Working at home (by e-mail), in the office or in meetings. I can work in PC and I can use the SDL Trados, I also know Extra and Mozilla Firefox software.
