Bio

Hi there--

I am a dual citizen of Brazil and United States, and a licensed attorney in New York. I work in the legal industry and as a freelance translator.

I grew up mostly in Brazil. When I was 3 years old, my family moved to the freezing (but beautiful) Catskill mountains, to a small hemlet called Spring Glen.

A couple of years later, we went back to Rio (very hot, but also beautiful), where I went to school and got my law degree from Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro.

Throughout law school, I worked as a translator, interpreter and English teacher. I have also taught Portuguese as a second language to American students. In 2011 I moved to New Orleans to get a Masters degree in U.S. Law. In addition to being a licensed attorney in New York since 2013, I have 4 years of business/management background in the U.S. legal industry.

I am a freelance translator, specializing in PT <--> EN legal and business translation, and I look forward to the opportunity of working with you to meet your academic or professional needs.
