Source text - English Current Routing & Distribution of Aerial Copper Cable
As mentioned above, the copper cable is the ducted to the two main distribution locations at MBC 001 and MBC 002. An overview of the current routing & distribution of voice lines is given in Figure 5.
MBC 001 distributes voice lines south towards the end of the construction site in quadrant 10. With the exception of the connection to the first pole (P282), which is ducted underneath the road, the lines are all carried aerial. MBC 001 distributes other lines which are unaffected by the construction and thus irrelevant.
MBC 002 distributes voice lines north to the end of the aerial distribution cable and south in two directions: to the end of aerial distribution (see Figure 5) and to pole P131. Although the final distribution of voice lines to subscribers is aerial via poles, MBC002 uses the ducting to reach these distribution poles for two – one north and one south – of the three directions. The third distribution direction is carried aerial.

Para responder a estas novas alterações populacionais o enfermeiro especialista na área de saúde infantil e pediátrica deve estar sensível à necessidade de desenvolver competências que lhe permitam cuidar de formar personalizada à criança/jovem e família culturalmente diferente. Portugal não foge a esta realidade de dimensões mundiais, inicialmente um país de emigrantes, tornou-se no momento, num país recetor de múltiplos grupos migratórios.
Cuidar de uma criança/Jovem e família culturalmente diferente constitui um enorme desafio para o enfermeiro, sendo necessário adquirir competências que o tornem culturalmente competente. Este deve possuir um conjunto de técnicas e atitudes que lhe permitam compreender as caraterísticas culturais dos clientes, famílias e comunidade de forma a conseguir uma intervenção eficaz a todos os níveis de prevenção.
Este artigo pretende aprofundar conhecimentos sobre a temática da multiculturalidade e perceber a importância do enfermeiro especialista enquanto cuidador culturalmente competente.

Translation - Portuguese We are currently witnessing an era of globalisation where migration is a reality that requires great concern as far as nursing thinking is concerned. In order to address these new population changes the specialist nurse in child health and paediatrics should be sensitive to the need of developing skills that will allow him/her to provide customised care to culturally different children/teenagers and families. Portugal is no exception to this worldwide reality. Originally, it was an emigrant country but nowadays it has become a receiving country for multiple migrant groups.
Providing care services to culturally different children/teenagers and families is an enormous challenge for the nurse who needs to acquire certain skills that will help him/her to become culturally competent. He/she should have a set of techniques and attitudes that enables him/her to understand the cultural features of customers, families and community and thus achieve an effective intervention at all levels of prevention.
This article aims to enhance knowledge regarding multiculturalism and understand the importance of the specialist nurse as a culturally competent caretaker.
