Para el budista, la compasión es el acto por el cual el Buda, un hombre, renuncia a la trascendencia última para enseñarle a la humanidad la forma en que puede salir del ciclo del dolor que caracteriza a la vida.
Avalokitesvara o Guanyin es la diosa más conocida en el budismo chino y la más popular entre la población china.
Translation - English Exhibition: BUDDHA GUAN YIN, TREASURES OF COMPASSION
This exhibition broadens our perspective to a different form of being in the world and being with others. For the Buddhist, compassion is the act by means of which the Buddha, a man, renounces ultimate transcendence to teach mankind the manner to break free from the cycle of pain that characterizes life.
Avalokitesvara or Guanyin is the most known goddess of the Chinese Buddhism and the most popular one among the Chinese.
