I would like just to give my view/contribution on this topic. I am a PhD student on translation and more specifically technical translation. I am currently working on tha translation of computer programs/software from English into Kiswahili. My observation is that, there is a sign of terminological babel if we rely on translating basinng on the demands of the consumers. The translators have been coming up with varied translations of the same text, especially on the technical terms.

This has been confusing the speakers of the language. The get a problem in their daily communication. Now, the puzzle that i am still working on is what should be done to minimize this at the sametime respecting the variations in education level and spacializations

Initially, let me thank you for the effort you make in this field, and frankly i will comment on it after transferring it into paper, for my eyes are accustomed with written papers, i.e, i am still a traditional reader who adores traditional reading
