English to French: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY IN THE TRANS-PACIFIC PARTNERSHIP: INCREASING THE BARRIERS FOR THE ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE MEDICINES General field: Medical Detailed field: International Org/Dev/Coop
Source text - English While some transitional periods were allowed, the TRIPS Agreement did not leave any space for a special and differential treatment based on the countries’ levels of development. In particular, it imposed on all WTO members the obligation to grant patents in all fields of technology. The main objective of this obligation was to put an end to the policies applied in many developing countries that did not grant patent protection for pharmaceutical products.

Experience
Years of experience: 9. Registered at ProZ.com: May 2013.
I am a freelance translator specialized in the Swiss market.
Switzerland has 3 official languages and 4 national languages. Entering this market is not easy as each region has its language and its own culture: the Romands (Swiss-french part) do not think or speak completely like the french!
I am here to help you target this market successfully with my deep knowledge of the local culture, which is where I am based (Geneva).
I also specialize into corporate documents, veterinary medicine and legal documents.
Please feel free to contact me and know a bit more about my services and what I can offer to your clients or your business.
