I tried uninstalling DejaVuX2 and reinstalling it from the disk (I own it for over 6 years already). That didn't help and I still got the same error message. Then I tried downloading the trial of DejaVuX3 and I tried to open DejaVuX3 but I got the same error message.
I contacted Atril for support but that still have got no response from them. Has anyone else had this happen to them? I have been using DejaVuX2 for 6 years and haven't had any major problems until now. By the way, I am using the latest build of the software and I have Windows 7.
I would greatly appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance! ▲ Collapse

I assume the error isn´t directly related to DV but to the mentioned .DLL file. The internet (alias Google) offers several solutions to fix issues with that file. Try some of them or ask a friend or IT shop in your area to fix it for you.

Hi Selcuk,
Yes, I tried that. It's the problem with reinstalling Visual Basic 6 Runtime.
I ran the elevated command prompt and got the following error message:
The module "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\msvbvm60.dll" failed to load. Make sure the binary is stored at the specific path or debut it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files. Access is denied.

So then I checked to see if the file is at the specific path and it is. What could be causing this to fail to load? ▲ Collapse
