Hi everybody,

I've just created an account at Proz, so it's the first time I communicate here. Nice to meet you all!!!

I've been working as a translator for 10 years now, mainly in-house but I've occasionally worked as a freelancer as well. A few weeks ago I decided to go for it and establish as a full-time freelancer. Let's hope it works out fine!

After giving it a lot of thought, I've decided to try and direct my career towards international organizations and NGOs. I've been collaborating with one UN organization for a few years now and I'd like to find other clients.

My first question is: apart from passing the exams to access their freelancer lists, do you know of any other way to get in touch with their translation departments?

My second question is: does anyone know of translation agencies that act as providers of international organizations and NGOs and that hire freelancers for this kind of translation'
