Hello,
I\'m a new freelance translator trying to establish myself in the US. I\'m suppose to send an invoice soon for my first project but I have a problem with tax and VAT issues. Can anybody give me basic information regarding this matter? Who is suppose to claim VAT in the US? How big is the tax? Please help me clear this subject.
Tess

In the US, you don\'t have to worry about VAT. There is no sales tax (yet!) on translation services.
