CRB Check - new rules?

Hi all,

Does anyone know if there've been any changes regarding CRB Checks for Interpreters? To my surprise, I've been told this is not required anymore. I'm not sure if they meant a standard or enhanced check but still... it sounds like something worth looking into. Any help?
