Can anyone please confirm that this procedure is the one to follow when getting an API key for Yandex Translate?

Can anyone please confirm that this procedure is the one to follow when getting an API key for Yandex Translate?

1. Get a Yandex "Passport" (i.e. profile)
https://passport.yandex.com/profile

2. Add a credit card
https://translate.yandex.com/developers/account
https://translate.yandex.com/developers/payment/methods
After adding a card, click the yellow "Add funds" button.

3. Get a key
https://translate.yandex.com/developers/keys
Click the yellow "Create a new key" button.
Type e.g. "For CAT tool" as the description.

The key looks something like this:
trnsl.1.2.30300705A083339B.53085a77bcde00fg.9f5eea97930h7i99j0973k8l3m38855950no5p33 ▲ Collapse

Hi Samuel,

The key is so long. I got two keys. I never pay any charges to Yandex.
My only problem, two year ago, was to type a capcha in azbuka. I solved it with QTranslate as translatition into Russian and then past it.

I did not need to add a credit card Jul 1, 2020

I got the key quite a time ago, but I am sure I did not have to add a credit card. Of course, the procedure might have changed by now.
