Is there any way to disable the collapsing of forum posts that seems to have appeared recently? I find it annoying, especially when reading active threads with a lot of posts, to keep on having to click ...See more. I would rather be able to read down the whole page by just scrolling the mouse wheel.

Perfect, thanks. I hadn't noticed the setting nor the previous discussion.

Popularity of new feature Jun 12, 2019

It would be interesting to know what percentage of regular users have disabled this new feature. Do the site moderators have this information?

Yesterday I was thinking about the same.
Also if someone is not logged in, the collapse tag is the default.
So it means less "activity" for proz.com.

Thanks! Jun 12, 2019

I found a bug in it. Instead of unfolding the post I wanted to see, it hopped to a completely different thread in another forum... I can see the point in some cases, but I won't be using it!

I didn't go back to see a particular post, but it seems to be working fine for me.
If more people prefer to disable this, perhaps it should just be eliminated. I can understand the point on mobiles, but not on my laptop.

I also just disabled this feature Jun 13, 2019

It is very annoying for me as it takes me more time considering the fact that I am blind -- to find this Buggy Feature at all, but now, I have also disabled it. Thank you to those who brought it up to discuss. Makes me glad to see that I am not the only one annoyed about it.
