I just came across a very interesting search website for people who are interested in corpora.

It's called 'Corpus Concordance English (v.6.5)' and is located here: http://www.lextutor.ca/concordancers/concord_e.html

For those of you who haven't heard of corpora (plural of corpus), it's just a massive collection of texts from a particular domain. They can be useful if you would like a little help when translating. These corpora have been made using very specific texts, so it's not the same as just Googling something. The texts in a corpora have been selected because they represent the ideal form of a specific domain. So if you are a legal translator, e.g., it can be very useful to have access to a large legal corpus of correct, well-written material.

In case anyone is interested in learning more about corpora and how they can help you as a translator: have a look at Kevin Lossner's blog: 'translationtribulations.com': http://www.translationtribulations.com/2013/05/corpus-terminology-workshop-in.html which has a recent post about a 'Corpus terminology workshop in the Netherlands' that the professional translators' group 'Stridonium' is organizing on June 17, 2013 in Holten, The Netherlands.
