Module A encouraged the children to think about their bodies as amazing by showing them how it works, and why it is important to keep it healthy. In Module B, the topic of the body continued but with a focus on “teenage” bodies and the changes that an adolescent goes through as they grow up. They learned about their own bodies, as well as the opposite sex. The module stressed the new and sometimes difficult feelings and thoughts that come to children as they grow as teenagers. Their social environments increases, they become more independent and start having interest in love, sex and romance. The module emphasized that these changes might feel difficult and confusing, but that they are all normal. In these sessions, the children learned that these changes are all ways in which our bodies and our minds prepare to become independent adults.
