M.A. in English Literature, P.G. Diploma in Translation (Hindi>English &vice-versa) , Graduate with History Hons. and Graduate in Law along with more than 15 years of Translation experience under various streams including services in Government of India.

I am a qualified linguist and a philologist.
A literary translator, since 1975, my working languages are Hindi, English and German.
For me, literary translation is the process of conveying the exact intended meaning, tenor and mode of the original text, ensuring that the final version reads as smooth as if it was written in the original language.
I have translated books, poetry and short stories.
I would love to translate a play.

I have translated stories for children. I have also translated 10 book summaries (can't share the names but all are very famous!) My focus is on Education, Philosophy and motivational content. I am still waiting for the chance to translate Philosophy-related content and I am hoping to start translating literary books.
