My ideal internship would be working in professional environment where I can get hands on experience in the entire project life cycle.Along with actual translation work I would also like to understand briefly tools infrastructure,management and business aspects of the project. Currently I can work part time from remote location.However in coming years I plan to work as full time translator. As I learn and grow I would also like to offer services in subtitling, voice over and interpreting.

From that internship, I expect to first practise more than now and build a good profile for future career prospects. Living in Cameroon, it will be advantageous for me to do a remote internship which will help me improve on my competences in Web localisation and in general translation, particularly from English to French or from German to French. This internship will contribute a lot to make me gain experience in translation and website localisation.

I am looking for a 3 to 6 months internship as a translator in a translation or localization agency in Europe in order to put my skills into practice. Working as an intern in a publishing house would also be very stimulating, as I could get more experience in the literary field, which is my primary field of specialisation. Thank you!

Due to the fact that I would like to work as a professional, it is essential for me to improve my competencies. In the future,I would like to establish my own business offering linguistic services.

I expect my ideal internship to teach me how the real world of translation works. At all stages of the translation process. Since I do not expect the internship to be lecturing, but rather teaching, I would never be left alone and unarmed. Thus, I could learn a lot in a (relatively) serene atmosphere.

I would further relish an opportunity to enhance my translation skills, in which I may also immerse myself in both in the language and culture.
