Bio

Hullo! I’m a translator and localisation engineer, currently working in a full-time position translating from German to (British) English. Resident in Germany since 2009, I’ve held an in-house position as translator at a computer game publisher since 2014, responsible for translating game and marketing texts for various genres, ranging from multi-million word MMOs down to small mobile apps and browser games.

As a localisation engineer, my expertise includes writing custom scripts for manipulating content, managing light resources and templates, improving workflows and providing support and training for translators/other users.

My time for freelance translation work is limited, but over the years I have had experience in the fields of tourism, legal contracts, letters/applications, poetry/literature, as well as some semi-technical work translating presentations and websites in the IT sector.
