Vanessa Maheu holds a bachelor’s degree in East Asian and German studies from McGill University, as well as a Graduate Diploma in French-English Translation from Concordia University. She is currently a French-English Translator and Editor for a major company in Montreal.

She has years of experience in translating, editing, and revising technical, scientific, business, medical, and general documents. Vanessa is a power user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Reader/Editor, EndNote reference manager, and the Internet.

Having lived in several countries throughout her lifetime, she is quick to adapt to new environments and has a great ability to learn new concepts rapidly. In addition, she is an enthusiastic polyglot with French and English as mother tongues, speaks fluent German and Spanish, and is proficient in Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, as well as Brazilian Portuguese.
