Professional Background After graduating in 1999, I lived between France in the winter and the UK in the summer. I started my employment with a UK tour operator in a French ski resort, and after two winters was employed by a French business as a sales representative for ski and snowboard equipment and accessories. While continuing full-time work, I completed my Masters in translation between 2006 and 2009.
During the summers I was resident in the UK where I was employed in accounts and credit control for a bond brokers and then a large travel intermediary where a number of French banks and French travel companies were included respectively in my client portfolio. These positions have developed my linguistic knowledge of general business and accounting terminology in both French and English. I have been translating full-time since June 2011 and am currently based in the UK.
