Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,
wir – Firma A-Mitarbeiter aus X-heim – wenden uns mit diesem Schreiben an Sie, weil es gemäß der Business-Ethics-Schulungen einerseits unsere Pflicht ist, auf Missstände bzw. Gesetzesverstösse hinzuweisen und wir andererseits aber auch Ihre Hilfe bei deren Behebung benötigen.
Schon seit Monaten fühlen wir uns von Seiten der Geschäftsführung Mobbingattacken ausgesetzt, die sich nun zuspitzten.
Mitte August diesen Jahres erhielt das Management-Team eine Einladung von dem Werkleiter, Herrn Dr. Jedermann, zu einer Besprechung, bei der nicht klar hervorging, was der Inhalt dieser Besprechung sein sollte. Auf Rückfragen, wobei es bei diesem Gespräch ginge, wurde nicht sofort geantwortet, was zu Verunsicherungen der Kollegen führte.
Zusammen mit der Personalleiterin, Frau Schmidt, informierte der Werkleiter in dieser Besprechung, dass sie einen Unternehmensberater (Organisationsentwicklung, www.abcde.de) mit einem Auftrag betraut hätten, wobei dessen Aufgabe in dieser Sitzung trotz mehrfachen Nachfragens nicht klar erläutert wurde.
Wie sich herausstellte, ist der Unternehmensberater/Organisationsentwickler, Herr Becker, ein ehemaliger Kollege von Herrn Jedermann und Frau Schmidt (siehe www.abcde.de).
Wir können es nur vermuten und glauben, dass gegen die Einkaufsrichtlinien (Einholung von drei Angeboten) verstossen wurde. Des Weiteren möchten wir auf die Vergabe eines Auftrages an einen ehemaligen Kollegen aus Firma B-Zeiten hinweisen, was auf Vetternwirtschaft (buddy-system) hinweist. Außerdem ist uns auch nicht ganz klar, ob Herr Jedermann und Frau Schmidt in ihrer Funktion überhaupt einen Unternehmensberater/Organisationsentwickler engagieren dürfen, ohne Rücksprache mit dem Corporate Headquarter.
Auf die Frage eines Kollegen, wieviel der Beraten kosten würde, antwortete Herr Jedermann, dass keine Kosten enstehen würden und hob diese Aussage im nächsten Atemzug auf, indem er mitteilte, dass man davon ausginge Personalkosten in Höhe von 50.000 € einsparen zu können. Wenn man diese Aussage – von einer Führungskraft (!) - in den Zusammenhang mit einem unserer Kernwerte bringt (ZUSAMMENARBEIT => Gegenseitiges Vertrauen und Respekt sind unsere Grundlage) gerät dieser Grundsatz zur absoluten Farce. Hier wurde eindeutig darauf spekuliert, das anwesende Management-Team zu verunsichern und Ängste zu streuen. Des Weiteren kann man hier auch nicht von INTREGRITÄT sprechen.
Herr Jedermann toppte allerdings noch oben genannte Aussage, indem er eine Analogie zu dem äußerst verpönten und brutalen Lied „Zehn kleine Negerlein“ aufzeigte. In diesem Lied sterben nach und nach alle Neger bis keiner mehr übrig bleibt. Hier ein Auszug aus dem Lied:
Zehn kleine Negerknaben schlachteten ein Schwein;
Einer stach sich selber tot, da blieben nur noch neun.
Neun kleine Negerknaben, die gingen auf die Jagd;
Einer schoss den andern tot, da waren's nur noch acht.
Acht kleine Negerknaben, die gingen und stahlen Rüben;
Den einen schlug der Bauer tot, da blieben nur noch sieben...
Der Verweis auf dieses äußerst rassistische Lied – mit dem Unterton von drohenden Entlassungen - führte bei den Anwesenden zu tiefer Betroffenheit.
Frau Schmidt, die anwesend war, und als Personalleiterin auch Ansprechpartnerin in Fragen des Allgemeinen Gleichstellungsgesetzes (AGG) ist, verhielt sich passiv und sprach dieses Verhalten nicht an. Wir möchten hiermit auf Verstöße gegen das AGG hinweisen!
Im Anschluss an das Meeting wurde für jeden Mitarbeiter Einzelgespräche mit dem Unternehmensberater Becker angeordnet und terminiert.
Diese Gespräche wurden zum Teil mit einem Diktiergerät von Herrn Becker aufgenommen, ohne, dass die Zustimmung der Betroffenen vorher erlangt wurde!
Dies ist ein klarer und grober Verstoss gegen das deutsche Grundgesetz und das Grundrecht der informellen Selbstbestimmung!!!
Wir gehen davon aus, dass Herr Becker diese Tonaufzeichnungen in Abstimmung mit seinen Auftraggebern Herrn Jedermann und Frau Schmidt angefertigt hat, um unanfechtbare Beweise in der Hand zu haben und um vollständige Dossiers abliefern zu können.
Man fühlt sich hier an Stasi-Methoden erinnert.
Mobbing am Arbeitsplatz unterliegt einer besonderen gesetzlichen Kontrolle. Arbeitgeber stehen in der Pflicht, ihre Arbeitnehmer vor psychischer Belastung zu bewahren. Dies ergibt sich aus Art. 1 und Art. 2 des deutschen Grundgesetzes. Der Arbeitgeber ist verpflichtet das Persönlichkeitsrecht, die Gesundheit und Ehre des Arbeitnehmers zu schützen.
Was aber tun, wenn der Arbeitgeber derjenige ist, der mobbt?
Nicht nur, dass gegen sämtliche Kernwerte, für die Firma A steht, verstossen wird, sondern dass durch das „downward bullying“ auch für die Firma wirtschaftlicher und rufschädigender Schaden entstehen kann.
Wir erwarten, dass wir vor Repressalien geschützt werden und dass sich die Zustände am Standort schnellstmöglich und nachhaltig zum Guten wenden.

To whom it may concern:
We – Company A staff members from X-heim – turn to you with this letter on the one hand because according to the Business-Ethics-Training Sessions it is our duty to report grievances and violations of the law and on the other hand because we also require your help to rectify the situation.
For months, we have felt threatened by the executive managements’ mob attacks that have now come to a head.
This year, in the middle of August, the management team received an invitation from the Factory Manager, Dr. Jedermann, to a meeting in which it was not clear as to what the content of the meeting would be. Further inquiries into what the meeting was going to be about were not immediately answered, which led to uncertainty on the part of the staff.
In this meeting, the Factory Manager, together with the head of Human Resources, Mrs. Schmidt, informed the management team that they had hired a management consultant (organizational development, www.abcde.de), whose exact job was not clearly defined in the meeting despite repeated demands for clarification.
It came to light that the management consultant/organizational developer, Mr. Becker, was a former colleague of Mr. Jedermann and Mrs. Schmidt (see www.oezpa.de).
We can only assume and therefore believe that the Purchasing Guidelines (obtainment of three offers) had been violated. Furthermore, we would like to point out that giving a contract to a former colleague from Company B times suggests favoritism (the buddy-system). In addition, it is also not clear to us whether or not Mr. Jedermann and Mrs. Schmidt in their respective roles are even allowed to hire a management consultant/organizational developer without first consulting with Corporate Headquarters.
To the question of how much the consultation would cost, Mr. Jedermann replied that no cost would be incurred and then contradicted himself in next breath by informing us that a savings of €50,000 in Personnel costs could result. When this assertion – from an executive manager (!) – is coupled with our core values (Teamwork => mutual trust and respect is our foundation), our basic principle becomes an absolut farce. The remarks were obviously intended to unsettle the attending Management Team and to spread fear. Furthermore, one cannot call this INTEGRITY.
Mr. Jedermann topped this above mentioned assertion by pointing out a parrallel to the extremely frowned upon and brutal song “Ten little Black Boys.” In this song, all the black boys die one after the other until no more are left. Here is an excerpt from the song:
Ten little black boys butchered a pig;
One stabbed himself to death, then there were only nine.
Nine little black boys, they went hunting;
One shot another dead, then there were only eight.
Eight little black boys, they went and stole beets;
The farmer beat the one to death, then there were only seven...
The reference to this exceedingly racist song – with the undertone threatening layoffs – deeply shocked those present.
Mrs. Schmidt, who was present, and who as head of Human Resources is also the contact person in questions concerning the General Equality Law (AGG – Allgemeinen Gleichstellungsgesetzes), remained passive and did not react to this behavior. Herewith we would like to report infringements against the AGG!
Subsequent to the meeting, every staff member was ordered to have a one-on-one interview with the management consultant and was fired.
These interviews were in part recorded by Mr. Becker with a Dictaphone without obtaining prior consent from the parties involved!
This is a clear and gross violation of the German constitution and of the basic right of informal self-determination!!!
We assume that Mr.Becker made these recordings with the approval of Mr. Jedermann and Mrs. Schmidt in order to have incontroversible proof in hand and to be able to deliver coplete files. This is reminiscent of the Stasi’s methods.
Mobbing in the work place is subject to specific legal control. Employers have the obligation to protect their employees from psychological stress. This is a result of Art. 1 and Art. 2 of the German constitution. The employer is obligated to protect the employees’ personal rights, health and reputation.
What should be done, when it is the employer that is doing the mobbing?
It is not only that all of the core values for which Company A stands are being infringed upon, but it is also that through “downward bullying” that the company could also incur economic and reputational damage.
We expect that we will be protected from reprisals and that the situation on site changes for the better as quickly as possible and stays that way.

Source text - German 4. Fazit Weißhelligkeit vs. Farbhelligkeit (Color Light Output)
Es könnte alles so einfach sein: Möchte man einen besonders hellen Projektor, so schaut man einfach in die technischen Daten und wählt denjenigen, der die gewünscht hohe Lichtleistung verspricht. Bei unseren Testkandidaten hätte man dann die freie Auswahl, denn alle versprechen eine hohe Lichtleistung zwischen 2000 und 3000 Lumen.
Die Rangliste „nach Prospekt“ sähe wie folgt aus:
1.) Sony: 3000 Lumen
2.) Acer , BenQ und Epson (jeweils2600 Lumen)
3.) Optoma mit „nur“ 2200 Lumen.
Doch schon die erste Messreihe zeigt schnell auf, dass die Hersteller „großzügige Toleranzen“ bei der Ermittlung der Werksangaben anwenden. Es wird grundsätzlich nur mit vollen Weißbildern gemessen und im Lichtweg unter Umständen „Tricks“ angewendet, um die Helligkeit bei Weiß zu erhöhen. Single Chip DLP Projektoren bieten hierfür die besten Möglichkeiten, da sie ein Farbrad benötigen und man hier mittels Weißsegments die Helligkeit steigern kann. 3Chip Projektoren (z.B. 3LCD) hingegen haben diese Möglichkeit nicht, da sie Weiß ohnehin aus ihren drei Grundfarben mischen müssen.
So ist es nicht verwunderlich, dass die DLP-Fraktion derartige Hilfsmittel in den technischen Daten nicht erwähnt oder mit irreführenden Begriffen wie „Brilliant Color“ verpackt. Und so ist es auch kein Zufall, dass ausgerechnet bei den beiden LCD-Modellen von Epson und Sony die „Farbhelligkeit“ gesondert aufgeführt wird. Dies ist legitim und vorbildlich, um den Kaufinteressenten über den möglichen Vorteil zu informieren. Aber bis zur letzten Konsequenz präzise war keiner der Hersteller, denn in keiner Herstellerliste fand sich eine Referenz zur Farbtemperatur (Weißabgleich), bei der die maximale Helligkeit (idealerweise 6500K / D65) erreicht wird. Das verwundert ebenso wenig, da keiner der in diesem Special von uns getesteten Projektoren seine maximale Helligkeit bei perfekten Farben (unter Einhaltung de Videonorm) erreicht.
Überprüft man die Helligkeitsangaben der Hersteller mit einem Weißbild und Luxmeter, so stellt man schnell fest, dass kaum ein Gerät die Angaben genau einhält. Berücksichtigt man bei der Messung sowohl die maximal mögliche Helligkeit als auch die Helligkeit unter korrektem Weißabgleich, so verschiebt sich die Rangliste bereits merklich:
Da diese Rangliste aber die Grundfarben des Bildes weitgehend außer Acht lässt, ist sie nur bedingt aussagekräftig. Sinnvoll sind ihre Ergebnisse für das Einsatzgebiet von Desktop-Projektionen und Präsentationen von Tabellen & Texten, da hier die Weißhelligkeit meist wichtiger als die Farbdarstellung ist.
Möchte man den Projektor aber überwiegend für die Präsentation von farbigen Bildinhalten nutzen (Fotos & Filme), so sollte man auf keinen Fall seine Farbleuchtkraft unüberprüft lassen, denn diese weicht nicht selten erheblich von den Weißpegeln und Herstellerangaben ab. Sehr Eindrucksvoll belegt dies das entsprechende Ranking:
Diese Rangliste ist für die meisten Anwendungen die aussagekräftigste, da sie die gängigsten Anwendungen eines Präsentationsprojektors leicht verständlich abdeckt. Umso schockierender ist es daher, wie manche Modelle unter realistischen Messverfahren auf ein Drittel (und darunter) ihrer Werksangaben fallen. In Anbetracht der Tatsache, dass Farbbilder über 90% des Videomaterials ausmachen, kann man schon von einer Irreführung des Kaufinteressenten durch die Werksangaben bzgl. der Helligkeit eines Projektors sprechen, wenn keinerlei Referenz zur Farbhelligkeit gegeben wird. Lichtleistungen von unter 1000 Lumen reichen keinesfalls für Präsentationen ohne Abdunklung!
Die einfache Farbhelligkeit (Color Light Output) gibt zwar an, wie hell ein Projektor im Durchschnitt farbige Bilder projizieren kann, doch gibt sie keine Informationen über die damit verbundene Farbgenauigkeit. Führt man weiterführende Messungen hierzu durch und entschlüsselt die Helligkeit der Grundfarben einzeln, so ergibt sich eine Rangliste für besonders hohe Ansprüche. Sie berücksichtigt ausschließlich die Helligkeit, die ein Projektor mit einer präzisen Farbreproduktion kombinieren kann.
Rangliste „Helle Bilder mit adäquater Farbreproduktion“
1.) Sony (1980 Lumen mit überdurchschnittlich guter Farbgenauigkeit).
2.) Epson (1700 Lumen mit guter Farbgenauigkeit),
3.) Optoma (440 Lumen mit hervorragender Farbgenauigkeit)
4.) Benq (670 Lumen mit ausreichender Farbgenauigkeit)
5.) Acer (870 Lumen mit mangelhafter Farbgenauigkeit)
Diese Rangliste ist vor allem auch für Projektoren ausschlaggebend, die auch als „Diaprojektor“ für digitale Fotografien genutzt werden. Überraschend ist dabei, dass Underdogs wie der Optoma hier ihre Stärken ausspielen, während populäre Modelle wie z.B. Acer zu diesem Zweck überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen sind.

The very first series of measurements quickly showed that manufacturers use "generous tolerances" in the determination of the factory specifications. Generally, measurements are only taken with completely white images and in the optical path "tricks" may be used to increase the output of white light. Single chip DLP projectors are the best candidates for this since they require a color wheel and brightness can be increased by using white segments. 3-Chip projectors (3 LCD, for example), however, do not have this possibility because they have to create white by mixing their three primary colors.
So it is not surprising that the DLP group does not mention such tools in their technical specifications or fills it with misleading terms such as "Brilliant Color". And thus, it is no coincidence that the two LCD models from Epson and Sony list the "Color Light Output" separately. Informing prospective buyers about the potential advantage is legitimate and commendable. But none of the manufacturers were completely consequent in their precision because none of them list a reference to the color temperature (white balance) at which the maximum light output (ideally 6500K / D65) is reached. And it is no wonder because none of the projectors we tested in this Special achieved its maximum light output using perfect colors (subject to the video standard).
If the manufacturer's light output information is tested with a white image and a luxmeter it is quickly discovered that hardly any device meets the specifications exactly. If both the maximum possible light output and the light output by correct white balance are taken into account in the measurement, then the ranking shifts noticeably:
Since this ranking largely ignores the primary colors of the image it is of limited significance. It makes more sense to look at their results for desktop projection and the presentation of tables and texts since the White Light Output is usually more important for this type of application than color.
If you mainly want to use the projector for presenting colored image content (photos & movies), then you have to by all means carefully examine its color luminosity because this often differs significantly from the white levels and manufacturer's specifications. The following ranking is very impressive evidence of this:
This ranking is, for most applications, the most meaningful because it covers the most common applications of a presentation projector and is easy to understand. It is therefore all the more shocking how some models under realistic measurement conditions drop a third (or more) below their factory specifications. Given the fact that color images make up over 90% of the video material, one can say that the potential buyer may be misled by the manufacturer’s specifications regarding the light output of a projector if no reference is given to Color Light Output. Light output of not less than 1000 lumens are not sufficient for rich presentations without dimout!
The simple Color Light Output does indeed indicate how bright a projector can project color images on average, but it provides no information concerning the associated color accuracy. If additional measurements are taken for this and the brightness of the individual primary colors is deciphered, the resulting ranking list consists of the most stringent requirements. This takes only the brightness into account that a projector can combine with an accurate color reproduction.

• In 2010 about 27 million phones were sold in Germany, of which 40 percent were smartphones. Forecasts indicate that this percentage will increase to 72 percent by 2015. With iPad and Co, a new generation of devices has arrived that is dramatically changing the pattern and intensity of how people use mobile devices once again. This rapid mobile evolution will thus include all areas of industry, commerce and society.
• For four years (2008 - 2011) Company-A together with the polling institute X has been analyzing developments in the mobile sector. The annual Mobile Web Watch provides detailed information for companies to identify emerging trends early on and successfully use it for their business models.
Mobile Internet is growing rapidly. Intensity, life, activity – these significantly increasing trends are notable everywhere.
Intensity of Use
Compared to the previous year, the use of mobile Internet is increasing rapidly.
Almost every third German is surfing the Web (28%).
Mobile Internet is firmly establishing itself in everyday life. More than half of users surf the Web at least 1 x per day.
Services
Nearly all services showed high rates of increaded use this year.
There are two major areas of growth: online communites und location-based services.
Tablets
Tablet use in Germany is on the rise. Already 3 percent of those polled report going online with their iPad of other tablet.
Apps
Apps have firmly established themselves in the everyday lives of mobile surfers: nearly 8 out of 10 users use apps and prefer to download them from their mobile phone manufacturer's portal.
Security
Mobile security and synchronization is and remains an important topic for many customers in 2011.
Mobile Advertising
Users continue to find mobile advertising annoying.
Costs
Costs and unclear benefits of using mobile Internet are the biggest barriors for non-users.
Nevertheless, a third of those polled reported plans to use mobile Internet in the future.
