About me
My name is
Katherine Stephenson, and I’ve had a flair for languages for as long as I
can remember. I grew up in the UK and Germany, where I acquired my
language skills. I started my translation career in 2015 after
completing my Master’s in Applied Translation at the University of
Leeds. Today, I offer my professional freelance translation services
from my base in Helsinki, Finland, but my clients are based all over
Europe. My bilingual background in English and German gives me a native
speaker’s insight into the cultural and linguistic nuances of both
languages. I have the knowledge, experience and passion needed to
translate, edit and localise your content to perfection. I'm also a qualified member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (MITI).
