Source text - English After Turkey’s Independence War, the 1923 Treaty of Lausanne decreed the great Greek–Turkish population exchanges– terminating three millennia of Greek coastal civilisation with one stroke of the pen. Although Turkey was officially neutral in WWII, the Aegean coast’s curving bays provided cover for Greek resistance ships harassing the Germans.
Despite the eminently peaceful holiday atmosphere here today, this frontier’s strategic significance remains as vital now as it’s always been – Greek and Turkish fighter pilots engage almost daily in mock dogfights over the coast (fatalities are rare). The two countries’ long-standing dispute over territorial waters and sovereign territory almost caused a war in January 1996, when Turkish commandos briefly stormed the uninhabited Greek islet of Imia (Kardak in Turkish), causing frantic diplomatic activity in Western capitals. Today, you can gaze at this distant, hazy speck of rock and wonder what all the fuss was about.

Source text - English UN-Habitat believes that urban legislation should be a priority area for sustainable urban development. Cities and local authorities must legislate to manage land, planning, financing, including taxation, housing, basic services, infrastructure, transport, economic development and social exclusion.
Obsolete, inappropriate and poor regulatory frameworks are among the major obstacles for urban management and governance. This gives rise to an informal economy and parallel systems to circumvent the system of governance. Good laws and institutions are therefore the basis of effective urban governance, management and planning.
UN-Habitat can help cities identify and recommend reforms and strategic actions which can help urban expansion, while strengthening decentralisation and local democracy. The production of large scale serviced land can accommodate rapid urban growth, create more public space, and in some cases enable development cost sharing through land value capture.
Translation - Chinese 联合国人居署（UN-Habitat）认为城市规划立法应是可持续城市发展的重点领域。城市和地方当局必须通过立法，以加强对土地、规划、财政（含税收）、住房、基础服务、基础设施建设、交通、经济发展及社会排斥现象的管理。
