My name is Kenny Santos. Although I was born in Los Angeles( California), when I was six years old, my parents moved to Honduras due to some financial emergency they had to attend. I lived there until I was thirteen years old. At the beginning, I was reluctant to learn spanish, but in Honduras it became a necessity. Eventually I forgot all my English, and I spoke purely spanish until the sixth grade. At thirteen years of age, I moved back to the U. S. A. and quickly recovered the English I lost. In fact, I prefer to speak/write English now. But I haven't forgotten my spanish, because I attend a religious meeting that is in Spanish. Sometimes I have to speak in public, proofread certain bible discourses and teach in Spanish. That is what encouraged me and helped me to become a qualified translator.

Mi nombre es Kenny Santos. A pesar de que nací en Los Angeles ( California), cuando tenia seis años, mis padres se mudaron a Honduras por cierta emergencia financiera que tuvieron que asesorar. Viví allí hasta que cumplí los trece años. Al principio, me resistí aprender Español, pero en Honduras se convirtió en una necesidad. Con el tiempo se me olvido por complete mi Ingles, y hablaba solo Español hasta el sexto grado. Cuando llegué a los trece años, me mude devuelta a E. E. U. U. y rápidamente recuperé el Ingles que había perdido. Es más, ahora prefiero hablar/escribir en Ingles. Pero no se me ha olvidado mi Español, porque asisto a una reunión religiosa en Español. A veces tengo que hablar en publico, revisar ciertos discursos bíblicos y enseñar en Español. Eso fue lo que me animo y ayudo a ser un traductor capacitado.
