My name is Julio C. Palma, I work at the Universidad del Zulia, Cabimas, Venezuela, where I teach EFL and ESL to undergraduate and graduate students. I am a linguist by training and an amateur translator. I love to learn more about translation strategies, from English to Spanish, to be able to teach my students some of the translation techniques they might need for their future careers. My native language is Spanish. I am very interested in learning how to implememt online dictionaries use into my classes, aimed to teach translation. I would like to learn "reverse translation". I would love to meet people from other countries to engage in collaborative learning and cooperation in translation projects.
