As you can see from the CV that I have attached, I live full-time in Germany, have an excellent level of German (C2.2) and have been translating professionally from German into English for more than four years, for the last three years full-time on a freelance basis.
In Germany, I worked for a year as an in-house translator and website designer in a German company, producing a wide range of general and marketing translations as well as performing freelance work mainly in the engineering sector. For the past three years, I have been working freelance and have completed successfully and punctually hundreds of translations of engineering and instruction manual texts, translations of websites, narration scripts for complete films running to thousands of words and pharmaceutical and general English texts for agencies based in Germany.
As a full time freelance translator, I am able to work quickly and effectively and to tight deadlines. Although I typically like to work during the day, I am also occasionally available to work in the evening or at weekends.
I would be very pleased to work with your company and to produce high-quality translations. Please contact me by e-mail at [email protected] if you have any further questions. I would be happy to provide you with further details of my work should you be interested. |
