I realised I adored English when I was only 7 years old. Since then, I haven't stopped trying to learn and evolve even for a single day. I sat Examinations to enter University and I was accepted 13th among 650 people to study English Language and Literature. It was through my projects on Literature of the Renaissance and my specialization in Shakespeare's works that I decided to go one step further and discover the magic of translation. So, I enrolled in the Professional Translation Programme offered by the British Council. I graduated first in my class (Grade A). Then, I specialised in the translation of medical and scientific texts. I consider reliability, hard work and passion for language the most significant qualities a translator should possess. |
