Conformada por un equipo de trabajadores y voluntari@s de todas partes del mundo, dedicados a la inclusión y empoderamiento de las personas con discapacidad. Todos nuestros miembros creen en la igualdad de oportunidad para todas las personas independientemente de la capacidad física. Mediante sus programas - Beca Hope y Voluntariado Nacional – brinda servicios inclusivos y mejores oportunidades para acceder a la educación y a oportunidades laborales. Importantes para el bienestar de muchas personas con discapacidad.
En el Perú, 8 de cada 10 personas con discapacidad están desempleadas. Las altas tasas de desempleo de personas con discapacidad, pueden ser atribuidas a dos razones; La falta de educación, ya sea por razones financieras o de accesibilidad; como la discriminación en los centros de trabajo. Poniéndolas en desventaja y en una situación vulnerable.
Translation - English HELP THEM HOPE is a small, non-profit organization located in Lima, made up of a team of employees and volunteers from all over the world who are dedicated to the inclusion and empowerment of people with disabilities. All of our members believe in equal opportunity for all people, regardless of their physical abilities. Through its programs, the Hope Scholarship Program and the National Volunteer Program, Hope provides inclusive services and access to greater educational and employment opportunities, which are important for the well-being of many people with disabilities.
In Peru, 8 out of every 10 people with a disability are unemployed. The high unemployment rate among people with disabilities can be attributed to two factors: lack of education, either for financial reasons or reasons of accessibility, and discrimination in the workplace. This puts them at a disadvantage and in a vulnerable position.
