Bio

Personal Details:

I grew up in the west of Ireland and have been studying languages since I was 4 years old, beginning with Irish, and have since learned French and Italian. After graduating, I became an English teacher, and have since moved to Italy to continue learning the language, which I have been speaking for 4 years, and to begin working as a translator.

Translation Experience:

I have been working as an IT>EN translator for two years. I specialise in sports translations, mainly football and rugby, having been an avid fan and casual player of both. I can also provide translations in the music, academic, and tourism and hospitality areas.

More recently, I have begun to provide a subtitling and captioning service. I have completed the Subtitling Worldwide Comprehensive Subtitling Course, and can provide spotting, captioning and subtitling services to clients.


It is very important to me that I can provide clients with my full attention and give the highest quality translation possible. For this reason, I am very careful to limit the amount of work I take at a given time to ensure I devote enough time to each job.
