Bio

In my former role as the ESL (English as a Second Language) program Coordinator in US public schools, I worked as a liaison between parents, staff and students by translating documents and interpreting meetings. I successfully grew the ESL team from two to five staff  members by advocating for students’ needs to administrators, teachers and school board members. In these presentations, it was necessary that I break down the complexity of language learning to non ESL professionals

I have a bachelor's degree in Journalism and a master's degree in Education (English to Speakers of Other Languages).
