1.1 Audience
The intended audience for this document is developers and/or quality assurance testers of product knowledge catalogs who need to be able to run the web based version of m2ō on a Windows operating system.
1.2 Definitions
1.2.1 Product Knowledge Catalog
The product knowledge catalog is made up of rule files, INI setting files, pricing tables, and the binary product knowledge tree. The product knowledge catalog contains all of the product information and constraints for a single vendor. There may be multiple product knowledge catalogs in one m2ō system.
1.2.2 Thin Client
Thin client is a form of client/server architecture in which little or no data is stored and little processing occurs on the client machine. The thin client machine accesses applications and processes which are run on the server(s). Most if not all of the application data is also stored on the server(s).
1.2.3 Web Based Configurator
The Web Based Configurator (WBC) is the thin client version of m2ō, which is designed to run on one or more servers while being accessed over a network by many thin client machines. All of the m2ō applications and application data (including product knowledge catalogs) are stored on the server. The m2ō application can be accessed by the thin client machine(s) through a web browser.
1.2.4 Web Based Configurator for Windows
The Web Based Configurator for Windows is a version of the WBC designed to run on a single machine running the Microsoft Windows operating system. All application software and data is stored on that one machine.

La plupart, sinon toutes, des données de l’application sont aussi estoquées sur le(s) serveur(s).
1.2.3 Le configurateur basé sur WorldWide Web
Le configurateur basé sur Web (CBW) est la version client maigre de m25, qui est conçue pour rouler sur un ou plusieurs serveurs pendant qu’ils sont accédés sur un réseau par plusieurs machines client maigres. Toutes les applications et les données d’applications m25 (inclusif les catalogues des renseignements de produit) sont estoquées sur le serveur. L’application m25 peut être lancée par la(les) machine(s) client maigre(s) par moyen d’un navigateur Internet.

INFORMATII REFERITOARE LA SECURITATE
