Source text - English METHOD TO DECREASE ALDEHYDE CONTENT IN POLYOLEFIN PRODUCTS
Methods are provided for decreasing aldehyde content in polyolefin materials comprising combining with the polyolefin material an organic additive compound which reacts with aldehydes to form water and a resulting organic compound. The organic additive compound comprises at least two hydrogen-substituted heteroatoms bonded to carbons of the organic additive compound such that the organic additive compound is reactive with aldehydes present in the polyolefin to form water and the resulting organic compound, which comprises an unbridged five- or six-member ring including at least two heteroatoms. The resulting organic compound advantageously neither imparts an off-taste to food and beverage products in contact with the polyolefin nor discolors the polyolefin. Preferred polyolefins include polypropylene and polyethylene.
Poliolefin malzemeyi, aldehidlerle tepkimeye girerek su ve yeni bir organik bir bileşik oluşturan bir organik bileşikle birleştirmek suretiyle, poliolefin malzemelerdeki aldehid içeriğini düşürme yöntemleri sunulmaktadır. Organik katkı maddesi bileşiği, organik katkı maddesi bileşiğinin karbonlarına bağlı en az iki adet hidrojen-sübstitüe heteroatom içerir; bu sayede, organik katkı maddesi bileşiği, poliolefindeki aldehidlerle tepkimeye girip su ve en az iki heteroatom da dahil olmak üzere beş ya da altı üyeli köprüsüz bir halkadan oluşan yeni bir organik bileşik meydana getirir. Ortaya çıkan organik bileşiğin bir avantajı şudur ki, ne poliofelinle temas halindeki yiyecek ve meşrubat ürünlerine bir dış koku sinmesine neden olur, ne de poliolefini renksiz hale getirir. Tercih edilen poliolefinler poliprolen ve polietilendir.
