I am Brazilian and I live in Belo Horizonte, MG, Brazil. In spite a Brazilian, I really have expertise in translating from Portuguese into English subjects related to Banking and Financing in general.

My academic profile is a BS in Portuguese and English languages, from PUC.MG, with the Full License (nr. 5126) for teaching in both languages, a Post Graduation in Translating from UFMG and a Post Graduation in Business Administration from Fundação João Pinheiro, all in Belo Horizonte, MG, Brazil. I have got some opportunities for studying abroad, since High School in New York State as well as attending to specific courses for English teachers “Executive English Teaching Program”, and “Business English” both hold in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Fortunately, I have had great experiences of living in and hosting natives from American and English towns, chances from which I have been learning new cultures and expanding my work and social network.

My professional experience has been coming from different multinational companies to whom I have worked as an employee or to whom I have been working as an English teacher or as an English translator or both. Companies like, Banco BMG, Bank of Boston, Citibank, Samarco Mineração, Management Training & Development-MTD, Magnesita, Ford Brasil among others, have been step by step aggregating values to my professional work development.

My translation works can be done from English into Portuguese and from Portuguese into English, depending on the subject and on my expertise in working on it. Considering my experience, I can mainly translate subjects related to business in general, fields and matters as follows: finance, banking, accounting, corporate policies, credit administrative rules and procedures, financial and credit reports, administration management, human resources, training and development, pedagogy, transcripts, articles, reports, business newsletters, as well as, consultant services, corrections and proofreadings, both in English and Portuguese.

It should be noticed hereby, my professional relationship for about 15 years, with BMG Group, mainly with Banco BMG, to whom I have been providing translation services in both languages, Portuguese and English, to areas as the Directory, Products and Services, Investors Relations, Accounting, Premises, Paycheck Deductible Loans, Leasing, Compliance and some others. As an English teacher I have an expertise in working with young learners and adults ever focusing on students main objectives and interests. Mainly, I prepare candidates to English proficiency exames related to business, for example, TOEIC - Test of English for International Communication and BEC - Business English Certificate. I also provide training programs to new jobs candidates, preparing them for their interviews and tests of English for being hired inn financial institutions or companies. Following my students goals and gains is a great pleasure for me.
