Currently working freelance based in Beijing. Regular clients include an international telecoms consultancy and a high-profile London-based project working on Chinese environmental issues.

Have also worked for a major Beijing-based translation company working on translations of documents for major events such as the Olympics and the 2010 Shanghai Expo, laws and regulations, contracts, UN correspondence, etc.

Reasonable rates and quick turnaround for Chinese > English translations.

Work is normally charged per 1000 source characters as is normal here in China. Minimum rate would be 40USD / 1000 source characters, with increments according to document type, urgency, etc.

Samples of my work can be provided on request, and I will usually be able to quote you a rate for any project within 12 hours. Paypal welcome, UK or Chinese bank transfers also welcome.
