At least, that's when I finished my graduate work in linguistics. All my graduate work has contributed to my translation performance.

I can’t remember exactly but it must have been between 1985 and 1990. By then I was working in-house and learning another EU language helped climb the promotion ladder, so I add Italian to my language combinations…

I got my master in translation in 2012.

Also I have signed up for a couple of free courses here on Proz, just attended one last week, does that count?

And I attended a conference last spring, although it was more about freelancer statuses than actual translation.

I've never learned translating. In fact, this is why I still have an impostor syndrome in this profession. Is there such a thing as a beginner translation course I could take? The education offerings in Proz seem not to cover translating itself, except for very specialized topics.

I graduated this year actually and now have a degree in translation. However, I am already missing the academic life a little and I am thinking to study something new next year. I am thinking about MA in conference interpreting.
