My brain needs order and cleanliness. The main thing I do every morning after a quick shower, breakfast and looking at my email is make sure my office is clean, that my desk has no clutter and all papers are filed or binned. Then I can sit down and focus on what is important: translating...

I suppose.
I never really thought about it, but there is never a lot of clutter.

For example, each time I can no longer see my screens fully.
I am in the process of classifying a recent roll of paper photos (yes, film still exists), and I suspect I will need a week or two. In the meantime, the 36 shots will stay there.

I love well organised and ordered stuff, but the surface on my desk seems to attract everything. When powers of nature are at work, there's not much I can do.
