When you receive an image file that is not-editable, don't waste your time on typing it again, let's do the job for you by an OCR software, (Optical Character Ricognition). When you need to type strage characters you cannot find in your keyboard, don't panic...there are good and quick solutions to overcome this problem!

the presentation was too short Dec 1, 2010

Maybe one hour / one hour and a half was not enough to describe the potentials of the applications. I would have preferred a greater focus on alignment. Anyway, thanks for the hints, I'll check Nitro to extract pdfs (I've tried Abbey and Scansoft so far, they're good but it's always good to try other options). As for PhraseExpress, I'll give it a look, but I don't think it's that useful right now, I already create shortcuts in other ways. There were also too much pauses during the presentation (... There were also too much pauses during the presentation (sometimes I though I was disconnected!.-), but I can understand that having lost the files the presentation was a bit difficult to do. I'm sure next presentation will be fine!Collapse
