Bio

My name is Valeria and I am originally from Florence, Italy.

I graduated in Linguistics at the University of Siena in 2005 and I've been living in Stockholm up until 2020.
I recently moved back to Lucca, Tuscany, where I live and work.

I've worked as a translator for Star Stable Entertainment AB from March 2014 to March 2017. I translated the whole online game up until 2017 (starstable.com), its weekly updates, all promotional material, newletters, subtitles and advertising from English/Swedish to Italian.

I've also worked with translations of mobile games and electronic tools for visually impaired people.

I recently discovered the world of captioning and subtitling. I wish to learn more about this subject and make it a full-time job in the near future.
