1. POPULATION AND WATER DEMAND CALCULATION:
The population is assumed as 10000 for Baku Arena Sport Complex.
There are several different kinds of areas such as restaurant, cafe and showers for visitors,
sportsmen. Therefore, daily water consumption per person is taken as 30 l/person/day in order to
be on the safe side. The water demand is calculated with respect to these assumptions as follows:

2. WASTE WATER NETWORK:
According to the calculations above, total drinking and potable water demand discharge is equal
to;
QTotal drinking and potable = 300 000 / 86400 = 3.470 ≅ 3.500 l/s
Since the building will be a sport complex, the excessive consumption is taken into consideration.
The waste water discharge is calculated as Q Waste Water = 3.50 x 24 / 4 = 21.00 l/s by thinking the
excessive consumption during peak hours. The water is thought to be got involved in the system in
for hours. This discharge value is accepted as peak waste water discharge, as well.
Q Peak Waste Water = 3.50 x 24 / 4 = 21.00 l/s.
